Step-by-step

1. Open Connectors in Claude. Settings → Connectors.
2. Add the Microsoft 365 connector. Select it from the list. Claude connects through the official Microsoft connector.
3. Authorize with Microsoft. Sign in with your work account, review the requested access (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), and approve. Your IT scopes still apply — Claude only sees what your account can.
4. Send one prompt. Try: “Find the latest version of the Q3 deck in SharePoint and summarize what changed since last month.”
5. Span the suite. Ask across apps: “Pull the action items from this Teams thread and draft the follow-up email in Outlook.”
