Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms of Use" or "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gen AI University, LLC concerning your access to and use of genaiuniversity.com and related platforms. By accessing the Site you agree to be bound by all of these Terms. We may revise these Terms at any time; changes are indicated by updating the "Last updated" date, and your continued use constitutes acceptance. The Site is not intended for use in any jurisdiction where doing so would violate law or require registration, and you must comply with local laws. The Site does not comply with industry regulations such as HIPAA or FISMA, and may not be used in violation of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site.

Intellectual property rights

The Site's content, including source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics, is owned or controlled by Gen AI University and protected by copyright and trademark law. Content is provided "AS IS" for your personal, non-commercial use only; you may not copy, reproduce, or exploit content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Trademarks including "Gen AI University," "Recipe Rockstar Bootcamp," and "Scale with AI Summit" are our intellectual property.

Privacy policy

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms. The Site is hosted in the United States, and by transferring data to us you consent to processing in the U.S.

User representations

By using the Site you represent that you have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Terms; you are not a minor in your jurisdiction; you will not access the Site through automated means; you will not use the Site for any illegal purpose; and your use will not violate any applicable law or the rights of others. Providing false or inaccurate information may result in suspension or termination of your access.

Prohibited activities

You may not, among other things: systematically retrieve content to create collections or databases; trick, defraud, or mislead; circumvent security features; disparage or harm the company or Site; harass or harm others; misuse support services; advertise or sell goods and services; frame or link without authorization; upload viruses, malware, or spam; engage in automated data gathering (spiders, robots, scrapers, or scripts); remove copyright notices; impersonate others; sell or transfer your profile; collect usernames or emails for unsolicited contact; compete with the company using the Site; or infringe our intellectual property.

User contributions & submissions

If you create or submit contributions, you represent that they do not infringe any third-party rights, that you have the necessary permissions, that they are accurate and not misleading, and that they are not unlawful, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. Any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, or other feedback you provide about the Site become our non-confidential property, and we may use them for any lawful purpose without acknowledgment or compensation.

Site management

We reserve the right to monitor the Site, take appropriate legal action against violators, refuse or restrict access to contributions, remove excessive files, and otherwise manage the Site to protect our rights and property.

Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Site. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability, to deny access to and use of the Site (including blocking certain IP addresses) to any person for any reason, and to terminate accounts or delete content at any time.

Modifications and interruptions

We may change, modify, or remove the Site's contents at any time without notice, and we are not obligated to update information or maintain availability. We have no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your inability to access or use the Site.

Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to such jurisdiction. Claims must be commenced within one year of the cause of action, and you waive any right to participate in class or representative actions, agreeing to resolve disputes individually. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and UCITA are excluded.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS, AND YOUR USE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and make no representations about accuracy or completeness. IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU for any direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages; our liability is limited to the lesser of the amount you paid us or $500 USD. We do not provide tax or legal advice.

Affiliate links & indemnification

We may provide links to third-party resources and may earn commissions from purchases made through them at no additional cost to you. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party.

Electronic communications

Visiting the Site, sending us emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and agree that all agreements, notices, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. Any provision found unenforceable is severable, and the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
