2-Minute Setup: Claude + Gamma Connector
By Darby Rollins · Published January 18, 2026 · 5,851 views on YouTube
Key takeaways
- The Gamma MCP connector lets Claude create presentations, documents, and landing pages directly inside a Claude conversation, using your existing Gamma themes.
- Claude can pull a Gamma project outline plus a written asset (like a press release) from the same chat and pass both into Gamma to build the first draft.
- Set it up from the plus icon in Claude: Add files, connectors, and more, then Connectors, then Browse connectors and search for Gamma to log in and authorize it.
- Once connected, Claude returns a direct link to the generated Gamma project so you can open and refine it without copying and pasting.
How to Connect Claude to Gamma (2-Minute Setup, 2026)
Claude is great at thinking. Gamma is great at making it look good. Connect them and the handoff disappears: you give Claude your research, tell it which theme to use, and it hands you a link to a finished first-draft presentation, document, or landing page. Setup takes about two minutes.
What you’ll learn
- How to add the Gamma connector to Claude
- How to go from raw research to a designed draft in one prompt
- When to use Gamma for decks, docs, and sites
- How this closes the loop from idea to shareable asset
Step-by-step
- Open Connectors in Claude. Settings Connectors.
- Add the Gamma connector. Select Gamma and authorize through your Gamma account (get Gamma).
- Hand Claude your content. Paste or point Claude at the research, outline, or notes you want turned into a visual asset.
- Tell it the format and theme. Try: “Turn this into an 8-slide pitch deck using a clean dark theme.” Claude builds it in Gamma and returns a link.
- Refine in Gamma. Open the link and polish — layout, visuals, branding — in the Gamma editor.
What you can do once Claude is connected to Gamma
- Turn a Claude analysis into a client-ready deck in minutes
- Spin up landing pages and one-pagers from a prompt
- Convert long documents into visual summaries
- Keep one workflow from research to finished asset, no copy-paste
- Produce on-brand decks without opening PowerPoint

Check this out. If you use Gamma and if you use Claude, there is a new connector between Gamma and Claude. So you can create content in Gamma and remove the friction of having to copy and paste and set up an entire new Gamma project to create a presentation or a landing page or a document with a Gamma-specific theme. I’m going to show you exactly how to do that in the next couple minutes.
So here is inside of Claude. I have an artifact on the right-hand side of my screen. It’s a press release that Claude just wrote for me. And on the left-hand side, I have a command to create a press release for this event on this date, a 10-page presentation about it. And based on this outline, I want you to create the Gamma using our Side Hustle 4.0 theme.
You can see on the left side, it went through a thinking process and it used Gamma to get the themes from my account and to actually create the theme while I am inside of my Claude. And you can see the press release word document right here. You can see the presentation outline. I can even see a link directly to my Gamma. And so, without going into Gamma and copying and pasting and selecting a theme, simply click open and my first draft of this presentation is ready with all the context that I gave it inside of Claude.
So how did I get here in the first place? Well, what you’re going to want to do is look at this plus sign on your Claude account. And then you want to add files, connectors, and more. So I’m going to click this and I’m going to select connectors. If you haven’t set up your connectors already, you can do this with a ton of different tools. Specifically, in this case, I’ve already set up my Gamma connector. So what you’ll want to do is go to manage connector. This is the first time setting up Gamma inside of your account. And all you’re going to do is go to browse connectors in the right-hand side of your screen. And then search Gamma. Select Gamma. And then you’ll log in to your Gamma account. And Gamma has their own model context protocol, MCP, server set up here. Makes it super simple to start creating projects inside of Gamma.
This is using a theme that we’ve already created inside of our Gamma account. And when you are inside of Gamma, on the left-hand side, you will see a library. You’ll see themes, and then you can see all these different custom themes I’ve set up. I already created the Side Hustle 4.0 theme. And so it is using this as a template to build from, then produce this image. And all of this now can be done directly inside of my account.
This is really cool if you are creating a lot of documents, a lot of presentations, even landing pages with Gamma. You’re doing a lot of research in a tool like Claude, you can connect all of these tools together. You can have it create outlines. You can have it send that information directly to Gamma without you having to leave Claude, and then it creates that presentation link and you’re done.
