Who are the speakers and sponsors at the summit?

Platinum sponsors Gamma, Pickaxe, and Howdy each run a workshop or keynote across the three days. Community and partner speakers include Leandra Nisbet (AI data stores), Kelly Tenny (un-bottlenecking your business), Mario Castelli (AI copywriting bots), Roger Campbell II of Gemst (building MCPs), Sujin Ar Salon (backend marketing automation for service businesses), Phil Stringer (AI efficiency coaching for real estate agents), and Mike Joya of Pickaxe (monetizing knowledge with AI). Howdy places top-tier Latin American talent with US-based companies and will share what they’re seeing in AI-enabled hiring.

How will GenAI University turn the summit into ongoing content?

Rather than publishing one long recording, the team distills each session into shorter, actionable pieces. Community members get first access to raw session recordings as they’re produced, and the team then works through post-production - using Descript for editing and Claude and ChatGPT for note-taking and content breakdowns - to create executive briefs, session summaries, and clipped highlights. That content is spaced out over roughly 3-6 months at a pace of one or two videos a week on YouTube and the podcast, rather than releasing everything at once as happened after the previous summit. A dedicated community chat room serves as the home base for summit resources, speaker directories, and Q&A during and after the event, and the next Scale with AI Summit is expected around September 2025.

How’s it going, everybody? Darby Rollins here from GenAI University, and in today’s video I’m going to be sharing with you what to expect from the upcoming Scale with AI Summit and our content at GenAI University over the next several months. I invited several members of our community to join us here on today’s call. This video is just going to be basically a highlight of what’s going on over the next week, so you guys can expect a lot of updates happening as a result of the summit, but then also some of the key focuses for our content over the coming months. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them inside the chat or in the comments if you’re watching this on YouTube. The date right now is March 13, 2025.

As always, the speed of change in AI continues to accelerate, and our upcoming Scale with AI Summit Series for 2025 kicks off on March 18th through the 20th. We’re doing three days of interactive workshops, demos, and keynote presentations from different experts, speakers, and entrepreneurs who are leveraging AI in some way, shape, or form to grow their business and to share practical, under-the-hood demos about how they’re using AI right now to move the needle forward on their business. Obviously three days, a lot of content, and a lot is going to happen over those three days.

The important thing to note with the Summit Series is that it’s designed in partnership with our sponsors - Howdy, Gamma, Pickaxe, and Market Sauce - to be an ongoing series, where we’re effectively batching the majority of our content, highlighting speakers and other members of the community submitting pre-recorded videos on specific workflows they’re using. That content ends up on our podcast and YouTube channel, and you’ll be able to engage with it, export transcripts, and drop comments. In between the different sessions and episodes, members of our community - free or paid - will be the first to get notified once new videos are dropping. There’s editing and content breakdowns involved, and there are workshops that need certain aspects clipped to be more relevant for those watching after the fact.

If you’re a member of the community, over the three days from the 18th to the 20th you’re going to be the first to get the content we film, and it’s not going to be super polished - it doesn’t really need to be. It’s more important that the information gets out there in a timely manner, given how fast things change. But not everybody needs another 60-minute workshop to sit through, so with tools like ChatGPT and Claude, which we use extensively in our post-production process, we’re going to focus heavily on distilling the most actionable insights and updates from each speaker session and delivering those as executive briefs and reports that are easy to read, watch, and act on.

An example: Kelly Tenny is doing a session on the 18th about un-bottlenecking yourself inside your business, demonstrating AI tools she uses to help her clients identify areas of un-bottlenecking through an interactive assessment process. After her session, I’ll be breaking that down into an SOP for how Kelly taught the process, so if you’re watching the recording later you’ll have a blueprint of what she covered, key highlights, and chapters to note. With the transcript, you can also upload it to a project inside Claude or ChatGPT and engage with the session further.

The content we create and produce over the next week and a half will be distributed onto our YouTube and podcast channels over the next three to six months, depending on how many clips come out of it - roughly one or two videos a week from the summit. Our theme at GenAI University this year is all about integration, and we’re highlighting speakers who are sharing how they’re integrating AI into their business. Between now and the next summit, which I believe is set for around September, we’ll continue hosting monthly workshops, mastermind calls, and support for community members working through our resource library or building with tools from partners like Pickaxe, Gamma, and Howdy - who places top-tier Latin American talent with US-based companies.

We prioritize content requests from our members, which is why a number of them are also contributing what they’re using AI for in their business. So there’s a lot of content coming for our YouTube channel. Not all of it will be directly relevant to what everyone is doing at any given time, but there’s a good chance a speaker or two will cover something relevant to you. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the live summit March 18th through 20th - and for anyone who isn’t a paid member or hasn’t gotten an individual ticket, make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel, since replays and resources will be available after the summit over the following weeks and months.

George Tyrese asked whether there would be blocks specifically for attendees to talk to each other and potentially strike up collaborations and partnerships. I confirmed we won’t have individual breakout rooms with speakers, but there will be a chat room available outside the summit sessions where people from inside the community can engage. Speaker sessions run roughly 30-45 minutes, with time after each for questions and answers, so showing up live is the best way to engage directly with a specific speaker; otherwise you can catch the replay and link back up with speakers afterward.

I shared the high-level agenda, noting some slots were still tentative. Day one, March 18th, runs 10 to 4: 10:00 kickoff and welcome, with the first hour for settling in and some Market Sauce demonstrations while the community gathers; 11:00 Leandra Nisbet, a longtime community member, on creating AI data stores from training notes for better implementation; 12:00 the Gamma Lab Workshop (Gamma runs a workshop each of the three days - last summit day one was presentations, day two was websites, and day three was a website-building competition; this time day three may focus on Gamma’s new social graphics feature); then Kelly Tenny on un-bottlenecking your business with AI; at 2:00 Mario Castelli, who builds AI copywriting bots and has several programs coming out; and an implementation workshop at the end of the day on getting started with the Market Sauce method.

Day two, March 19th, kicks off again at 10:00, with Roger Campbell II from Gemst at 11:00 talking about building MCPs - a topic gaining attention since Anthropic’s announcement last year, with Perplexity recently releasing its own MCP integration with Cursor and Claude. Followed by a Gamma Lab Workshop (likely websites again, with new features added since November 2024), then a Side Hustle Productive Play Power Hour - a new format taking a business idea from a name to a prototype pitch deck using tools like Lovable, Bolt, or Pickaxe. Following that, Sujin Ar Salon, who runs an agency helping service-based businesses grow, shares how he builds backend follow-up marketing and sales-funnel automations for clients. The day wraps around 3 to 4 p.m. with a more advanced Market Sauce Studio Workshop on deep research - comparing how tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok handle the same research prompts differently.

Day three, March 20th, opens at 10 a.m. with a kickoff and recap of the first two days, followed by Phil Stringer, who spoke at the last summit and focuses on AI efficiency and productivity coaching for real estate agents. Then the day-three Gamma Lab Workshop, followed by an open AI Profits Accelerator Mastermind round table where the group shares weekly wins, updates, and insights. At 2:00, Mike Joya, co-founder of Pickaxe, joins to talk about how to monetize your knowledge with AI tools, drawing on use cases Pickaxe has seen from consultants using the platform. Tentatively at 3:00 (subject to moving), Howdy - one of the platinum sponsors alongside Pickaxe and Gamma - closes with a keynote from co-founders Jacqueline and Frank on hiring and enabling an AI-ready workforce, based on survey data from thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs.

George Tyrese also raised a request for a session on troubleshooting and workarounds for the practical problems that come with being an early adopter - citing an example where a Pickaxe GPT crashed and a user lost an hour and a half of work. I noted this is a good topic to raise in the community chat room and directly with partners like Pickaxe, and shared that I’ve personally learned to keep work saved outside any single platform, since technical glitches can happen anywhere.

For those attending, instead of a community-feed-style post like last year’s “Howdy water cooler” section, we’re using a dedicated chat room as the home base for the event - streamlining questions, content, and resources, with a pinned summit directory, sponsor deals, and a tools-and-resources section that will keep growing throughout the event and the following weeks.

On post-production: recording six-hour sessions on Zoom takes significant processing time to export, so I’ve been refining our process for chopping that content up, having learned from the last summit. I also likely hurt our YouTube channel last time by posting eight videos a day in each batch without spacing them out; this time I’m intentionally spacing videos to one or two a week for both live sessions and speaker demos, while the longer versions will be available immediately inside the community, including extensive notes built with Claude that could nearly be broken down into a book given how much instructional content there will be.

That wrapped up the walkthrough - excited to see everyone live at the summit, and reminders to subscribe on YouTube and join the community to be first to know about new content as it drops.
