Stuck IMPLEMENTING AI? FOCUS.

Published December 30, 2025 · 110 views on YouTube

Why do so many people feel stuck implementing AI?

Not because they lack tools, but because they have too many. Darby argues the constant flood of AI noise — updates, slop, innovations, genuinely useful releases all mixed together — makes it hard to distinguish signal from noise, and without focus, people get distracted chasing the next shiny tool instead of building anything real.

What is Gen AI University’s answer to AI overwhelm?

Gen AI University (Jenny/Jen AI U) is a community for entrepreneurs, operators, business owners, and founders who want to actually execute rather than passively consume AI content. Its core mechanism is accountability: cohorts and sprints where members focus on a desired outcome together, rather than trying to learn every tool alone.

What is Gen AI University focusing on in January?

The community’s “tool and platform of the year for 2026” is Claude, specifically Claude Code, and January is structured as a four-week sprint dedicated to mastering it.

  1. Week one and two: build foundational focus and skill with Claude Code.
  2. Week three: apply it to sales, marketing, and operations.
  3. Week four: integrate Claude as the backbone running through the business’s existing systems.

The goal by the end of the sprint is for Claude and Claude Code to become infrastructure members can build on, letting them bypass the broader noise of the AI space.

Why does Darby believe accountability beats more information?

After five years working in AI — running his own ventures, advising partners, and building and implementing tools directly — Darby says the market is saturated with confusion and “drinking from a fire hose without any clear direction.” His conclusion is that the fix isn’t more content or more tools, it’s a structure that holds people accountable to using what they already have, inside a community of others doing the same work rather than sitting on the sidelines.

All right, I’m going to get straight to the points. Here is you. This is Jenny. This is all the noise that is bombarding you every day. Every minute, every moment you are on social media, you are online, every moment you’re exposing yourself to the world.

You’re getting bombarded by AI. Whether it’s slop, whether it’s updates, whether it’s innovations, whether it’s stuff that’s actually useful, can be hard to distinguish. So what do we do?

We’ve created a university, a place for other entrepreneurs, operators, business owners, founders with visions who actually execute to come and bridge this gap. Sounds like I should have put markers on my Christmas wish list, but here. Gen AI University. Gen AI U. It’s going to help you focusing. All right, key word here: focus.

Focus. Too many tools. Too many tools. A lot of tools. Too many tools. All right, how do we focus? Especially if you’re ADHD or you got some kind of crazy brain that doesn’t sleep. You’ve always got ideas. What do I do with all these cool tools? Feels like time of the world where you can’t just go to sleep because everything is happening so fast. And maybe you’re right. But if you can’t focus, all right, three stars, extra focus, can’t focus, what are you going to do? You’re going to get distracted. See this, see that, see it everywhere.

But with accountability, right, in a community and other people that are on a similar track, a sprint, a cohort, something where you can focus on a desired outcome, whether it’s learning a new skill by putting it into practice, JIU puts the focus inside of these accountability groups with the first tool and platform of the year of 2026 is going to be Claude, right? Claude plus Claude Code. All right, so January, we’re going to be focusing on Claude Code.

Okay, it’s important because if we focus in January on Claude Code inside of Gen AI University and you work inside of this four-week sprint — January first week, second week, third week, and fourth week — then by the end of the four weeks, if you focus on mastering Claude Code during this four-week sprint, focusing on your sales, on your marketing, on your operations and adding Claude into your ecosystem as the backbone that makes everything else that you’re building already that much better, if you can focus in January with Claude and Claude Code out of Gen AI University, all this noise, right, can bypass it.

All right, there’s a lot of groups out there, a lot of people that are teaching AI, and a lot of overwhelm, a lot of confusion, a lot of drinking from a fire hose without any clear direction. And after doing this for five years now and using AI for myself, I have partners, I have projects, I have different ventures that I am integrated with that I support on not just AI strategy but also implementation on developing and actually building apps and using these tools. I also love to teach. I love to share what I’m doing.

And Gen AI University is the place where I do that and where you can do that with us, and where you can join a whole other community of other entrepreneurs and founders, business owners, operators, and people that are building with AI and not just sitting on the sidelines and learning, letting it pass them by. You’re actively working with these tools and building your own thing, rather than letting the overwhelm make you feel like you just need to sit back and get stuck and stay stuck.

No, we’re not all about that. All right? We are about helping you get unstuck and implemented with these tools. But in order to do that, we got to focus. We got to hold each other accountable. We’re going to do that in January. We’re going to do that with Claude Code. And we’re going to do that inside of Gen AI University.

See you.
