What is Jordan Hall’s Profit Multipliers Mastermind about?

It is an in-person event in Austin, Texas built around a “whole playbook” of ways to raise profits, bring in more lead flow, and, most importantly, form partnerships and deals in the room. Jordan Hall, a partner of Darby’s at Gen AI University who co-runs the AI Profits Accelerator Mastermind with him, is hosting it after roughly seven or eight years spent focused on creating margin in business.

Who is this event for?

It is for business owners who have already hit message-to-market match and have consistent sales, even if they have plateaued or want to scale further. Jordan names ecommerce stores doing high volume with thin margins, info product and course sellers, and coaches and consultants running book-a-call funnels as examples. He notes that even niche businesses, like a single-mother dog-training market, can benefit because cross-pollination and partnership potential exists even among businesses that don’t seem linked.

Who is this event not for?

Jordan says it is not really for freelancers, since the event assumes an existing business with a product and regular, consistent sales flow. The event started as an invite-only mastermind with about 30 people and was later opened to roughly 50 more business owners, so Jordan describes himself as being selective about who attends because he wants the room to be the right room.

What does Jordan mean by finding profit in the “back end”?

His core argument is that most businesses operate in a vacuum, focused only on the front end, like getting ads to work with Meta or YouTube. Once a business has achieved message-to-market match, Jordan says it has effectively crossed the finish line but most people stop there, leaving what he calls “a mountain of gold” in unrealized back-end profit, additional lead flow, and partnership potential that traditional marketing overlooks.

How can people learn more or attend?

Jordan points people to a Facebook post with details on the event, speakers, and attendees, which is also where he originally opened up the invite-only mastermind, and says he is also happy to be reached out to directly.

Hey, what’s going on everyone, Darby here, joined with Jordan Hall, who is a partner of ours here at Gen AI University. We run the AI Profits Accelerator Mastermind together, and Jordan has a super cool event coming up here in Austin, Texas, just a little over a month from now that he’s going to be running and putting on. It’s going to be a star-studded event with a lot of great people that are going to be at it. I am pumped to be in attendance as well, really looking forward to this, Jordan, and wanted to jump on with you real quick to share a little about what you’re doing. I know a lot of folks in our community have seen you around over the years, but a lot of people don’t really know what kind of stuff you’re doing on the back end, because you’ve got a lot of projects that you’ve got your hand in, and this event’s going to be a big one. I know you’ve been putting a lot of time into it, so I’d love to hear what you’ve got going on, and then for those interested in joining and being a part of an event like this, what they can do to get in touch with you and learn a little bit more.

Yeah, awesome, no, I appreciate it. So yeah, I guess just a slight bit of context, I’ll make it super short. I got into the game around 2004 as an affiliate and did really well. Had people ask me how I did it, and I started creating product launches back then. That was fun for a while until things got crazy in that market, and I got really interested in creating long-term growth in my bank accounts, so I went into evergreen markets. I’ve sold millions of dollars worth of low-ticket course products, and there was a point when I was making 700 sales a day, and I would look at my bank account, and this is for weeks on end, and it still just wasn’t where I wanted it to be, and it completely threw me off and blew my mind a little bit. So I got obsessed with figuring out how to create margin in business. It’s funny, because there’s so many tie-ins with AI about this as well, but that was probably seven or eight years ago, and that’s become my main focus: creating margin in that business and in other partnerships and other businesses that I’ve run. I’ve created virtual sales teams and masterminds around that topic that are all kind of behind the scenes, and this is the first time I’m really talking about it publicly. So I’ve been that behind-the-scenes guy, and along the way I’ve found a lot of people that are really smart, that have their own toolboxes on how to boost profits and multiply margins.

So this event is really for, you know, the ecom store that’s doing high volume with razor-thin margins, info product and course sellers, coaches and consultants at book-a-call funnels, things like that. There are a lot more profits in the business than they realize, but not just that, there’s a lot more traffic and lead flow and partnership potential than they realize, which is a really key piece of this. Last thing, I won’t get all tied up, but most businesses operate in a vacuum, and I think that’s the biggest mistake a business can make. It’s just them and Zuckerberg or whoever, YouTube, trying to get the ads to work, and that’s it. And if you have something that works and you’ve created message-to-market match with the audience or with the marketplace, you’ve solved it, you’ve run the whole race and crossed the finish line even, and then most people just stop there. That’s where there’s just a mountain of gold in your business, and there’s so much you can do. AI can be super instrumental in tapping into that as well, but we’re going to be talking about a whole playbook of ways to raise profits, bring in more lead flow, and then more, almost more importantly, to form partnerships and deals in the room. So there’s some really big people coming to this, like super high caliber, and I’m stoked.

Yeah, I know, I’m pumped as well, and I know that’s something that when you talk about the traditional event space, it seems like you can go to an event, get overwhelmed with information, and then, what do I do with it next? Versus what I’m seeing come together here is just a lot of synergy inside of a room with people that are movers, they’re shakers, they’re doing deals, and there’s going to be a lot of leverage that is right there in front of everybody. The opportunity is there, but also the insights from your experience and the perspective of the others that you’ve brought in that are going to be speaking, super high caliber quality all across the board. I’m curious, from a business owner who is looking to leverage an event like this, can I go into a little bit more detail about the types of business owners that you’re seeing that are coming into the space, that you think are going to get the most value out of it most immediately, and maybe who is this also not for, because I know you’re really specific about who can even attend.

No, for sure. So this was initially going to be an invite-only mastermind strictly, and we got about 30 people that are just rock solid as a part of that, but then I decided to open it up to another group of about 50 business owners, because really what we’re creating here is a rising-tide effect. These tools do boost profits, but they also create connectivity and lead flow opportunities where they didn’t really exist before, and when you know how to tap into these untapped assets, it opens up a lot of opportunity. So yes, I am being selective, and I know how that sounds, but I really want the room to be the right room. This isn’t really necessarily for the freelancer necessarily. Basically, somebody, a business that has a product that has regular, consistent flow, where if you’ve hit message-to-market match, whether you’ve hit a plateau or it isn’t quite the volume that you want, that’s fine, but whether it’s a physical product, an info product, or even a book-a-call funnel, if you’ve hit traction and you just want to be able to hockey stick, the secret’s always in the back end. There’s so many things I could get into here, but I know we’re trying to keep it short, so the money’s in the back end, and if you’ve created enough of the front-end traction, then there’s so many ways that you can scale and grow. So basically, if you fit that category, this could be a really good fit. And even if you’re like, okay, well, I’m in, like, single-mother dog-training markets and stuff like that, is it too niche? I think you’d be surprised, that’s one of the biggest things, is the cross-pollination potential even among very niche businesses is huge, and people don’t tap into it. I’ve made most of the money in my business by promoting things and creating alliances with businesses that don’t seem linked up at all, and the bridge concept that we’re going to be talking about is really powerful for that. So yeah, as long as you’ve hit that message-to-market match and you have something that you can sell that you’re selling consistently, this could be a massive win for you.

Love it. Yeah, I mean, there’s so many niche businesses that have so much opportunity behind that back end. If you do all the work to get people in the door the first time, how much opportunity is just being left on the table from everything that could happen back there? And if this is like a new idea to anyone about what’s possible from the back end and these types of partnerships, you’re the guy to talk to about this stuff. The insights that you bring to our mastermind regularly are, you know, eye-opening for myself, but also from the other members that get to brainstorm about different ways that we can all be leveraging AI. There’s so much leverage in just other people’s businesses that you can connect, create different deals, and the different ways you can structure this that just make win-wins all the way around. Sometimes it seems like these opportunities are just right under your nose, and you just need a little bit of help, just pulling up the veil to see that that’s where it’s been this whole time.

Yeah, 100%. Universally, whenever the opportunities are there and people think it’s elsewhere, they think it’s on the front end. That’s one last thing I wanted to mention because I think it’s important: if you have front-end flow and you’re creating back end, and I’m not just talking about email monetization and upsells, those are kind of like the starting point, there’s a lot more that can really expand your business. It’s way easier than creating a new funnel or a new product or hiring a new expensive agency or something. But also, if you have secret sauce on the back end and you’ve mostly been working with your warm market, that could be high-ticket consulting and coaching and things like that, and your cost per call or cost per customer acquisition is going through the roof, oftentimes you can be a miracle answer for somebody that has tons of front-end flow. You just need to connect the dots, and you don’t need some fancy webinar to do it. That’s one of my favorite things, creating consistent high-ticket deal flow by creating some of these ratchet effects. So if you have that kind of offering, there’s a lot of traction to be had that is a net win for everybody.

That’s great, and people can connect with you directly to learn more about the event and make sure it’s a good fit, get a ticket and whatever else they would need to be involved with it. Share just kind of exactly, I’ll link around this video too, exactly where people can go to learn more about it, connect with you, and if interested in coming to Austin, what that looks like.

Yeah, absolutely. So probably the best place to just go check out the overall thing, and some of the speakers that we have and the attendees, is on the Facebook post. I’ll give you a link there, that’s where I was opening up the invite-only mastermind, and then, yeah, also feel free to reach out to me directly, I’d be super happy to chat with you.

Awesome. Well, I’ll make sure we link that here under the video wherever this is posted, for those that want to connect with you on it, and yeah, I’m super excited to be there myself. I know that the quality of folks that are going to be in attendance is going to be top-notch to say the least, and it’s right here in Austin, Texas as well, so couldn’t pick a better spot.

Yep, love it here. Everybody needs to come here. I appreciate you, Darby.

Yeah, you bet, Jordan. All right, well, I’ll see you soon. Cheers.
