How Does AI Help Create Engaging Social Media Posts for Clients?

In this clip, a GenAIU member describes using AI to help create engagement posts for a client’s group, built around different tips and different themes each day. AI generates the drafts, and the member then goes through each post to strip out robotic-sounding phrases and replace them with real, human language before it goes out.

How Do You Price AI-Assisted Content Work?

The clip is a short, honest discussion of a pricing dilemma rather than a tutorial. The member describes initially feeling uneasy charging for AI-generated posts, since it wasn’t all their own manual work — but notes that teaching the AI to produce what they wanted took real time and a lot of tweaking. They also point out that not every client would see it the same way, which makes it hard to land on a single monetary value for the work. The core tension raised is figuring out how long the task would have taken manually versus how long it actually took with AI, and how to weigh pricing against that gap — without simply taking hours (and income) away from themselves, or charging less because AI sped things up.

So I use it sometimes when it’s helping me to create engagement posts for a client’s group, with different tips, different themes per day. At first I felt weird, because it wasn’t me doing all of the work — so how do I put a value on that? But I did have to take the time to teach AI to do what I wanted it to do, and that did take a lot of time and a lot of tweaking. Then I take each of those posts and I take out all of the robotic phrases and replace them with real human phrases and everything.

But then maybe not all clients would feel that way, and so I did have a hard time putting a monetary value on the work — because then I was trying to figure out how long would it have taken me versus how long did it actually take me, and where do I weigh the pricing for that. Now, am I taking hours away from myself, or do I charge less?

Yeah, that’s certainly a thought that I hear a lot of people going through. Does anybody else…
