What is the business advantage of adopting AI early?
Peter Cobab argues that right now is a brief moment in history where those who understand and apply advanced AI technologies have the opportunity to gain an unrivaled business advantage. He frames this as a window that will not stay open indefinitely, making early, applied understanding of AI a meaningful edge for the leaders who move on it.
Who does this AI advantage belong to, according to Cobab?
Cobab says it is the visionary leaders who are contributing to co-creating the world we all want to live in who deserve this advantage. His team focuses its time on partnering with the right people to train their teams, step in to help develop AI strategy, and guide and focus the organization around it.
How does Cobab’s team work with the businesses they partner with?
He describes two levels of engagement: broader partnerships focused on training teams and developing AI strategy for an organization, and a smaller number of deeper partnerships where the team works to innovate, invent, and create new technologies that are highly impactful, in service of building the world they want to live in together.

This clip opens mid-interview, with the interviewer asking Peter Cobab how long he’s been working with his business, what it does, and how he uses it day to day with AI. The interviewer also notes the scale of the World AI Summit itself, calling it a huge endeavor with no underestimating how much work goes into putting on live events of that size, and asks what is motivating the team to run the event and what they’re building alongside it.
Cobab responds: “At real time, our big vision and awareness is that we’re in a really brief moment in history where those who can actually understand and apply these advanced technologies have the opportunity to gain an unrivaled business advantage. And so we really believe that it is the visionary leaders who are contributing to co-creating the world that we all want to live in that deserve this rival business advantage.”
He continues: “And so we spent our time really partnering with the right people in order to help them train their teams, in order to come in and step in and develop AI strategy and guide and focus the organization. And then there are a few people that we engage with at a pretty deep partnership level in order to innovate and invent and create new technologies that are highly impactful, and like I said, creating this world that we all want to live in together.”
