Closing Ceremony: Scale with AI Summit 2024

Published December 5, 2024 · 17 views on YouTube

What happened at the Scale with AI Summit 2024 closing ceremony?

Darby hosted the closing ceremony to thank attendees, speakers, and sponsors, then walked through where to find summit resources and what offers and next steps were available afterward. This is a recap and offer summary, not a tutorial — it covers where the summit content lives, sponsor deals, and Gen AI University membership options.

Where can attendees find the summit content and resources?

A directory built in Notion collects the special deals, resources, session topics, and links to each day’s speakers. Darby recommended bookmarking rather than duplicating it, since it would continue to be updated. Session recordings would also eventually be trimmed and released on the Gen AI University YouTube channel, and viewers were encouraged to subscribe there and to the scalewithaisummit.com list for post-production content and updates on future events.

What sponsor offers were shared at closing?

What membership and services were offered to summit attendees?

  1. Gen AI University Pro membership — normally $99/month, with a 50%-off first-three-months offer ($48.50/month) tied to the summit, giving access to monthly workshops, mastermind events, the full video vault, community GPTs, and MarketSauce blueprint credits.
  2. MarketSauce blueprint credits — single blueprints available at $50 each (with one free), aimed at businesses still narrowing down their target market.
  3. MarketSauce 9000 done-for-you buyer’s brief — a $500 custom engagement (a 50-60+ page strategic brief plus a custom GPT built on it) aimed at existing businesses ready to launch or expand into new market segments, bundled with three months of Pro membership if purchased before November 12.

Two follow-up implementation workshops were also announced for members: November 12 (hosted by Darby) and November 26 (hosted by coach Kelly Tenny).

Did the summit ask attendees for feedback?

Yes. Darby pointed attendees to a post-summit survey at scalewithaisummit.com/survey, noting there was no pressure to complete it immediately and that respondents could opt out of having their feedback used as a testimonial.

We’re going to go ahead and jump into the closing ceremonies of the Scale with AI Summit. Thank you first and foremost, everybody, for joining us live and watching through these replays — it has been an absolute honor and pleasure to be able to host a summit like this with the caliber of speakers that we did bring in, and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that did join us here and make this event possible. That does include, obviously, our sponsors, our speakers, and every single one of you attendees who showed up and engaged with us, because that’s what we do these events for — to help you guys learn how to leverage this technology and use it to grow.

I’m going to go ahead and share my screen real quick, and we’ll keep this straight to the point. I’ll share this link with everybody here so that you guys can catch through all the links and otherwise. Going to quickly share some of the next steps for those of you that want to continue with us beyond the summit, recap what we’ve covered here throughout the day, and outline the next steps over these next few minutes — whether you’re attending the summit live or catching up via replay, this summary is just going to guide you through some of the key takeaways, where you can go find the resources, and offers exclusive to our community and those who registered for the summit.

First and foremost, expressing my gratitude and acknowledgements to all the attendees — thank you for showing up to the summit live as well as the replays and being part of what made the summit a success. A special thanks to our sponsors, Howdy and Gamma; their support has been instrumental in making this summit possible and providing valuable resources to our community. Want to give special recognition as well to all of the speakers — this is not just from me, this is on behalf of everyone that’s part of our team and organization. We could not have done it without the speakers; your insights and expertise enriched the summit experience for all of our participants, and I know that everyone who was a speaker delivered an excellent session because I was on every session and it was fantastic. I want to appreciate all of the participants again for interactive participation — joining us in the comments, sharing your thoughts, feedback, insights, and questions — because that’s what we’re here for, to make this a truly collaborative learning experience.

For immediate access to the resources, I’m going to share this link right now with you guys live. For the summit content access, we’ve got a directory that we set up, and I have a link inside of this web page — scalewithaisummit.com — that will have access to all of these links so you can navigate between them. All these sessions are going to be free inside of the community space; they’ll eventually end up on YouTube on our channel. Make sure that while you can access the content through the directory, the special deals and offers from our speakers and sponsors are inside of the summit space, inside of our community, for free — make sure that you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel because we will be releasing content there, trimming it down and breaking the sessions up throughout the post-production process, and when you’re subscribed you’ll get notifications whenever new videos are released. Also make sure, if you haven’t already, that you’re subscribed to scalewithaisummit.com so you’re on the list for the registry to receive additional post-production content and future event updates specific to the Scale with AI Summit. Keep in mind the summit content is coming soon — it’s a lot to process; we quite literally have 24 hours of livestream content over the last three days that will be on our plate in post-production over the next few weeks.

Want to say again a special thank you to our sponsors and the special offers they put together. First is Howdy, who had the keynote at the end of yesterday’s day-two session at 4:00 Central Time — you can go back and watch Howdy’s presentation on how they’re building and scaling a global AI-enabled workforce, finding top talent in Latin America. If you’re interested in working with a company like Howdy to tap into their resources, their network, and everything that makes Howdy a success — and they are a very successful company working with some very large businesses, but you don’t have to be a massive business to work with someone like that; I’ve hired through them, we’re a very small, lean organization and I’ve had nothing but a great experience with Howdy over the past year, and they were instrumental in our hires through them for building out the MarketSauce platform and our community experience — Howdy has put together a special link at howdy.com/scale where you can connect with their team, discuss whether it makes sense to hire and work with them, and learn more about their business. They’ve extended a special $500 off your first hire — they hire primarily through Latin America — with no time limit on that offer.

Secondarily, Gamma, another one of our core sponsors, put on three live Gamma Lab workshops with us, and Gamma is a fantastic tool — this entire presentation, this website, is built in Gamma; I built it today while we were on the summit live, believe it or not. Gamma has a special offer that expires this Sunday coming up, the 10th of November, where you can use “scale AI” as the code at gamma.app, which will get you three months free — it applies to any plan you choose, and I’d recommend going with the Pro Plan so you get that activated right away and then get three months totally free.

Next is the Scale with AI Summit 2024 directory, built in Notion; we’ll continue to expand on this over the coming weeks. You can scan it right now — I’d recommend not duplicating it, since it’s not going to continue to be updated if you duplicate it into your own Notion space, but certainly bookmark it so you have access to all of this content and information. Through this directory you’ll be able to see the special deals, the resources, the session topics, and the session links to all of the different speakers from each day. I’ll be putting the finishing touches on a few of the links from today’s recording, which are still being processed right now, so you’ll have that ready by tomorrow, Friday, and can catch up on everything over the weekend and take advantage of any special offer or deal in there.

It would not make sense for me to not share what you can do to continue on with myself, coach Kelly, and the other entrepreneurs, innovators, and creators inside of Gen AI University. We do have a membership open for enrollment right now under our Gen AI University Pro Plan, which is $99 a month, with a special offer of 50% off your first three months. The reason I wanted to extend this to three months, rather than just one, is that the first 30 days of learning AI and getting your feet wet inside a new membership and community can be a lot of new information — especially if this was your first summit — so it seemed worth extending the offer a bit longer, giving you a full three months to really dive in for half the cost: just $48.50 a month, about the cost of a nice lunch out here in Austin, Texas. There’s no time limit on this right now, though I’m not saying there won’t be at some point — you’ll have the rest of November and likely through the rest of the year to take advantage of it, but I’d encourage you to jump in now if you’re serious about implementing generative AI, because we host monthly workshops, mastermind events, and special live sessions and interviews with different innovators that are exclusive to paid members.

We have two workshops coming up: the first on November 12th, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, a full implementation workshop helping you integrate what we’ve gone through here, answering questions, helping build out tools in Gamma, and assessing some of the other tools we’ve shared. You’ll have access to the full video vault when you join — that vault will remain free for anybody from the summit, but members get access to a bunch of additional resources, including learning about GPTs and setting up specific GPTs available inside our membership that we build and develop internally and share with members. On the 26th, coach Kelly Tenny will be hosting a second workshop from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, another follow-up implementation session to make sure questions are addressed, before we set up December, January, and dates for 2025.

Membership also gives you access to special monthly MarketSauce blueprint credits, priced at $50 per credit if bought individually, included as part of your membership now that our software and platform is at the point where we can offer that. For those of you who want to take the blueprint a step further and work directly with me to build out a full report, the investment is $500 — that’s what people have paid for it in the past — and it includes a full 50-to-60-plus-page expansion on the blueprint, a full creative strategic brief, plus a custom GPT development where we set up your own GPT simulation inside ChatGPT that we host for three months, so you can engage with the blueprint and create content that speaks directly to your target audience. Given that we’re in Q4 of 2024, heading into strategic planning for 2025, this is the fast track to having us do that work for you in three to five business days, versus working through our book, The Buyer Brief, and the prompts yourself. For those who invest in a done-for-you MarketSauce 9000 buyer’s brief, we’re including three full months of Pro membership — a $300 value — applied on top of your existing membership if you’re already a member. That bonus availability, tied to the full three-month membership inclusion, cuts off on the 12th of November, though the buyer’s brief itself remains available as our core service regardless of when you purchase it — a fraction of what similar work traditionally costs elsewhere, upward of $5,000 to $25,000.

Quick recap: upcoming workshops for members on November 12th and 26th, a community for ongoing support, and access to myself, Kelly, and other experts. Next steps — reference the scalewithaisummit.com document for all these links, get access to the summit directory (shared inside the community and via email for those who registered), consider the Pro membership, consider working with us on a custom buyer’s brief through the MarketSauce 9000 system, and join the upcoming workshops. The MarketSauce 9000 buyer’s brief is best suited for someone who owns an existing business and is looking to launch something soon, or identify an existing offer or additional markets inside existing campaigns — content that speaks to different segments and creates hyper-targeted marketing language. If you’re just getting started and not sure where to begin, I’d recommend starting with one of our MarketSauce AI blueprints instead — you can get one for free, or $50 a credit — which locks in exactly who you’re serving before expanding into a full buyer’s brief; credits applied toward a blueprint purchase count toward the cost of a full brief if you upgrade later. The downsell from the $500 package, including three months of community access through the 12th, is simply joining our membership at $99 a month — or $48.50 a month for the first three months with the code “scale with AI” at geniuniversity.com/membership — which includes blueprint credits each month and support getting hyper clear on your target market.

Out of breath at this point in the summit, but it’s been a pleasure joining you all here live and on the replay. If you got value from the summit, I’d love to hear how — please take a few minutes to fill out the post-summit survey; it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. Let us know what sessions you watched, who you enjoyed, what you’d want to get out of it, your favorite things, and whether you’d want to attend another one. Fun fact: while I was a swimmer, I was also a professional ringman working in the auction business for several years, yelling for hours to collect bids in a loud, noisy barn — so I can be loud and talk for a long time, and above all I love teaching and sharing how to utilize AI so people can unlock their own creative potential and grow their business. It means the world to me when you share what we’ve put together here. The survey link is scalewithaisummit.com/survey.

There’s no pressure to fill out the survey right now — many people will be watching this on replay, and this is an invitation to share your insights and the value you got from the summit whenever you’re ready, along with what you’d like to see at the next one. There’s also a question on whether you’re okay with us using any testimonial in our own references and marketing material; if not, just select no and we’ll keep your information private.

On a question about a “start here” guide: when you join the membership, you’ll get access to areas inside our community, including our events calendar, the Howdy water cooler space, the directory, an overview, and interviews we’ve published, plus the Gamma Lab for feedback. Members get access to all of the extra spaces, including our Creator Plus Community HQ — there’s a 19-to-20-minute Loom video walking through how to access everything, including our AI Growth Library, since there’s a lot of information and part of the support of joining the community is helping you know where to look and when, rather than sending you on a wild goose chase. The only thing not available inside that membership is our AI Profits Accelerator Inner Circle.

Wrapping up the closing ceremony for the summit — I appreciate and am thankful for every one of you who joined us and made this event possible, especially our sponsors Howdy and Gamma for supporting us in making this event free, and all of our speakers for bringing incredibly valuable, actionable material and special deals and offers. I’d highly recommend, if you saw a speaker with a special invitation — like John Munsell, Ashley Gross, or Phil Stringer, for example — checking out their courses or programs; some, like Phil’s, include a full year of MarketSauce or Gen AI University Pro and a done-for-you custom MarketSauce 9000 blueprint as a bonus, since Phil and I work on several projects and partnerships together. John Munsell also has a special deal for his program, and both of those offers, along with Gamma’s, expire on Sunday. On a question about GPTs: the ones shared today will be gated inside our community for members from the growth library, but any GPT that a speaker like Kelly showed during her workshop will be available inside the directory as we put it together.

That’s a wrap for the end of the Scale with AI Summit 2024. Thank you all for being here and being a part of it, and I look forward to seeing you inside the community or at least in our newsletter for additional events and content. Go ahead and subscribe to our YouTube channel so you get updates as more of these videos get chopped up and added to the channel, and as we like to say — keep calm and AI on. We’ll see you guys on the other side. Thank you all, cheers.
